About The Author

Hello and welcome to my blog.  My name is Nina Carothers and I am the author/creator of The Wonderful World of Color Olors.  I first thought of the Color Olors back in 1993.  Having 4 children of my own, I realized there were so many lessons, in a fun way without realizing it, that a child could learn from my books. I decided to set the Color Olors aside in lieu of raising my family.   Now, 20 years later I bring to you The Wonderful World of Color Olors.   Each Color Olor has their very own story to tell and are brought to life with the help of my illustrator, Chris Padovano.

As you read The Color Olors stories you will find, lessons and values within my books. They are both memorable and inspirational. Many books in the Color Olors series have been inspired by my own life experiences such as The book of Red Ed and The True Meaning of Christmas. This book comes from a Christmas that I shared with two of my children not long ago. The book of Silver Ilver and the Cleft Palate Puppy is a true story of my very own cleft palate puppy and is told in a bibbidi bobbidi boo way.

I currently reside in Tarpon Springs, Florida with my youngest child still at home. I am blessed with 5 little grand babies that I call my lovies.  I hope that you enjoy reading my stories with your children, told from the heart, for many years to come. With a world of color, there is no telling how many books I will write.
